Previous year we as team of current and former Microsoft Student Partners started with MSTC Indore. Over the past months we have been trying our best to create an active and intuitive technical community in Indore and aspire to bring Indore at par with most of the IT hubs in India. We want to thank and appreciate you for being associated with us in some form. Now the big question is, what’s next?
We’re coming up with many exciting events and activities. Here we’re making some announcements and answering some frequently asked questions regarding MSTC Indore and recent changes.
What is MSTC Indore?
Microsoft Technical Community (MSTC) Indore is an independent technical community of software developers and IT professionals.
What is MSTC CampusConnect?
Group of students who like to take initiatives and lead technology activities on campus.
I am already a Microsoft Student Partner, why should I be part of MSTC CampusConnect?
Some current and former MSPs teamed up and started working as a community to learn and share about technology, that is how MSTC Indore came into existence. We believe, you have already taken your first step when you applied for the MSP program. We invite all MSPs from the region to share their passion for technology.
CampusConnect is an initiative by MSTC Indore. It is not directly connected or associated with the MSP program hence it is not compulsory for MSPs to join. Being a part of CampusConnect will not only help you in building your technical and presentation skills, but it’s also a great networking opportunity. You get to work closely with startups, professionals and other technical communities.
I am an existing member of CampusConnect, what next?
We’ll continue to share events and information in WhatsApp and Facebook groups.
July 2016 onwards, we’ll start working with highly active members in CampusConnect 2.0 who will take this community forward. We will be shifting all our communications to Slack.
You can also nominate yourself to be a part of MSTC Indore Core Team. As a core team member, you will play key role in planning and executing community activities which includes two way communication with startups, professionals, students and other technical communities. Hence, you will also build a strong professional network.
If you have a passion for technology and confidence that you can handle the responsibilities as a core team member, drop us an email at email@example.com with relevant details, mentioning activities you’ve done so far and contributions you’ve made.
Completing your course in 2016? please nominate your juniors who have potential to lead tech activities on campus. Stay connected with our social media channels on Meetup, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. You can also join our LinkedIn professionals group. If you’d like to speak at any of our events, you’re always welcome. 🙂
Lastly, we would like to thank you for being a member of MSTC CampusConnect 1.0, attending events and providing us with your feedback. Let us know if you have any note/suggestion/query.
All the very best for your future endeavors.
